Karura Bikes, also called Karura Bikes Rentals, runs karurabikes.co.ke as an online booking platform for bike hire inside Karura Forest. Partners provide the bikes. Contact: bookings@karurabikes.co.ke.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address.
- Booking details: rider counts by bike type, date, time, and the gate named for collection.
- Messages you send through our contact form, WhatsApp or email.
- Technical data needed to run the site securely, such as session identifiers and basic server logs.
We do not store full card numbers on this website. Card and M-Pesa payments are processed by Pesapal under their own security controls.
3. How we use your information
- To create, confirm and manage your bike booking.
- To share the booking with the bike partner who will supply the bicycles.
- To communicate meeting points, payment status, rescheduling and support.
- To improve site security and prevent fraud or spam.
- To respond to enquiries and legal obligations where required.
4. Sharing
We share booking information with the bike partner supplying that booking, with the payment provider, and with professional advisors or authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell guest contact lists.

Booking records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the booking, handle refunds or disputes, meet accounting needs and comply with applicable law. Contact messages may be retained to provide ongoing support.
6. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements for completed bookings and payments. Email bookings@karurabikes.co.ke with your request and booking reference where available.
